Shipping Policy
At Thehouseful (La Signora Ceramics, LSCER), all wholesale and B2B orders are fulfilled under strict shipping and risk-allocation terms. By confirming an order, the Buyer accepts the following policy in full.
1. Shipping Terms – Ex-Works (EXW)
All orders are supplied strictly under Ex-Works (EXW) Incoterms 2020.
This means:

Goods are deemed delivered when they are made available at our premises in Italy (or the UK for specific collections).

Title and risk transfer to the Buyer at that point.

From that moment onward, all responsibility for transport, insurance, customs clearance, duties, taxes, and delivery lies entirely with the Buyer.
2. Facilitation of Shipment (Agent Only)

At the Buyer’s request, we may arrange shipment with a third-party carrier (e.g., FedEx) using our shipping account.

In doing so, we act solely as the Buyer’s agent.

The contract of carriage is deemed to be between the Buyer and the carrier, even if the shipment is booked under our account.

Freight charges, import VAT, duties, and all other transport-related costs are the Buyer’s responsibility and will be invoiced accordingly.
3. Transit Risk, Loss, and Damage

We accept no liability for any loss, damage, shortage, delay, or non-delivery once goods leave our premises.

The Buyer’s sole and exclusive remedy in the event of transit loss or damage is limited to any compensation successfully recovered from the carrier under its standard terms and liability limits.

We may provide reasonable administrative assistance in carrier claims but accept no further liability or obligationbeyond passing on any recovery received.
4. Insurance

No transport insurance is included unless expressly agreed in writing.

The Buyer is solely responsible for arranging adequate insurance cover for the full value of the goods during transit.
5. Shipping Costs and Duties

Shipping costs are quoted separately and are not included in product prices.

Any import duties, customs charges, VAT, or local taxes are the exclusive responsibility of the Buyer.

Failure to pay such charges does not constitute grounds for cancellation, refund, or rejection of goods.
6. Delivery Times

Any delivery or transit times provided are estimates only and are not guaranteed.

We are not responsible for delays caused by carriers, customs authorities, strikes, force majeure events, or any circumstances beyond our control.
7. Inspection on Delivery

The Buyer must inspect all goods immediately upon receipt.

Any claims relating to manufacturer defects must be submitted in writing within 7 calendar days of delivery, with supporting photographs and invoice details.

Verified claims will be addressed in accordance with our Return & Refund Policy (credit note only, no refunds).
8. Governing Law
This Shipping Policy forms part of our Terms of Service and is governed by the laws of England and Wales.
