International Deliveries Customs Tariffs and Import Duties
International and European Deliveries (excluding the UK) may incur further Customs & Duty charges depending on the country you reside in. The courier might contact the customer directly regarding these charges. THEHOUSEFUL is unable to fulfil any import/export requests for shipments outside of the United Kingdom; however, we will do our best to assist you. Any Customs & Duty charges are solely the responsibility of the customer. Unfortunately, we are unable to calculate Customs & Duty charges at check-out. In the event that any relevant import custom tariffs are not paid by the customer, THEHOUSEFUL is discharged from any responsibility for refund, acceptance of additional charges, or liability. Any delay, loss, or damage incurred during the customs process is solely the receiver's responsibility. Any costs incurred in returning the goods as a result of refused delivery or refusal to pay Customs and Duty charges must be borne by the customer. Taxes, Customs & Duty charges are not refundable.
Parcel not picked up or refused delivery
Any delay, loss, or damage incurred during the return process of a parcel that wasn't picked up or refused during delivery is solely the receiver's responsibility. Any costs incurred in returning the goods as a result of a parcel not picked up or refused delivery must be borne by the customer. For parcel not picked up or refused delivery we will charge a fee equal to the shipment's value.
Parcel undelivered due to Customer not being at home
When possible, the courier will try to redeliver. Any delay, loss, or damage incurred during the return process of a parcel returned to us due to the customer not being at home is solely the responsibility of the customer. The customer is responsible for any costs incurred in returning the goods as a result of the foregoing. The goods must be returned to us in order for us to try to deliver again or issue a refund.
Fragile Packing & Packaging
We understand that fragile items like plates and vases require extra care when packing. That is why we wrap each item in bubble wrap to ensure that it is individually protected. We also use double-walled cardboard parcels for additional protection.
If an item arrives broken in transit, we will replace it with a new one as soon as possible.
